
I have enjoyed working in various roles in the area of higher education in the U.S. (Florida, California, Hawaii), UAE, China and the Qatar. Prior to this, I worked as an Environmental Chemist and Project Manager at an international engineering firm.
I have earned a B.S. in Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology College of Engineering and Science; an M.S. in Environmental Engineering Sciences at the College of Engineering and a Ph.D. in Science Education in the College of Education from the University of Florida. I have published over 170 scholarly articles in how people engage and learn with the use of appropriate, relevant and meaningful instructional technologies.
