GenAI Teaching Resources

This week I would like to first thank all of you who have shared ideas and resources with me over the years. Most recently, I have received more questions and resources from some of you, so I thought I would share one of them this week. The AI Resources Hub provides a collection to help institutions harness the potential power of GenAI. The site is categorized in four areas:

Implementation and Strategy Guide: Strategies to develop robust guidelines and strategies to integrate.

  • GenAI into your institution's framework.

  • GenAI Preparedness checklist

  • Strategies to enhance GenAI in higher ed

Faculty Support: You can find suggestions to provide faculty and students with knowledge and ongoing assistance.

  • Guide to supporting students in [productive] use of GenAI

  • How to adapt your courses using GenAI

  • GenAI and the future of teaching and learning

Cases Studies: Real-world examples that showcase successful GenAI adoption and implementation.

GenAI Tools: Tools that empower instructors to generate personalized feedback in less time and help students improve their feedback skills.

In addition to  this week's SoTL, I would like to share an invitation from one of our colleagues, Dr. Amrita Kaur below:

“My name is Amrita, and I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Wenzhou-Kean University. Along with my colleague, Dr Mohammad Noman, who is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the College of Education, Wenzhou-Kean University, we are collaborating on an edited book titled "Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in Asian Higher Education: Cultures of Inquiry in SoTL."

This book is scheduled to be published at the end of October 2024. We would like to invite you to contribute your insights by submitting a book chapter. Book proposals can be submitted at this website.

Best,  Amrita & Noman”
